Played on Wednesday, August 26th. It has been dry, so the course was looking a
little "thirsty".
Some of the maintenance crew were out mid-afternoon watering the greens.
I played as a single, played through one group on the second hole, and never
caught anyone else. I finished in well under 3 hours.
Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape, though not exactly plush.
The greens had recently been sanded with very fine sand, which really didn't
affect putting.
Greens typically were firm and most approach shots released and ran quite a bit.
They putted well, and pretty fast.
Bunkers generally had plenty of fluffy sand, though a few were firm at the
lowest point, probably due to watering of the greens.
This is a challenging layout and a good value if you can get one of their
discounted rates.

Played this course for the first tome for $31 yesterday.
Only one complaint,
greens very inconsistent, some super fast, some fast, some slow.
Otherwise, what
a great day.
Course is
beautiful, staff very professional, drink prices very fair.
I should have
listened to the guy who said you'd lose lots of balls if over 20 handicap, but
for that price, I had to try this course.
Didn't play well, but enjoyed myself tremendously. For that price, I'll
definitely be back.

Played here for the first time recently and enjoyed the round. Overall course is
in very good condition for the heat it's dealt with lately.
Very challenging
even from the white tees, and if
you're driving is off (which mine was that day),
you'll spend a lot of time
exploring the local flora and there's lots of poison ivy out there:)
Fairways
are in great shape and greens rolled
true and not too fast.
Some narrow fairways made recovering from
less-than-perfect drives very difficult.
Gentleman in the clubhouse didn't seem overly comfortable with the computer but
was very friendly.
No cart girl, which was tough on a 93 degree day, but water
was plentiful and cold.
A good value overall and I will definitely return.

Thought it was an extremely challenging track.
Wouldn't suggest playing it if you
are over a 20 handicap. You will loose a lot of balls. I lost at least 4 and
shot an 89.
Very tight fairways,
tee shots are key on most holes.
Don't get me wrong, the place is a great value,
and it is in great condition, just didn't set up to my eye.

Too bad this course is so far away from Atlanta.
It has many holes with great
personalities ... not the same thing over and over again.
It still has a ways to
go in maturity, you can tell it is
a new course regarding aesthetics, but that is not a big deal.
Range is a little
inconvenient up the "mountain". The greens are coming in very nicely after
aeration.
The clubhouse and restaurant are good, and the service was super ... always
friendly smiles and glad you are here.
You get the feeling they would do
anything for you.
