INNSBRUCK

I played this course on 7/2/09 while on vacation in GA.
This is a fun course with a number of challenging shots.
You will love the par 3 tee box that sits 180 feet above the green. I always wanted to hit a sand wedge from 169 yards!
If you like mountain golf then you should play this one.

Tough course but you definitely get your money's worth.
Signature hole is very intimidating being a straight downhill shot but if you hit the green you should par.
You have to hit the ball straight other wise you are in trouble due to the narrow fairways.
My only complaint was there was not a single green that was level. They are all up or down hill and very fast.
It makes for some very tough putting. All in all a challenging but fulfilling course for a very decent price.
I play would play it again.

Great round for the money. Because of the hills you have a lot options on this course.
Most times you won't hit the driver because of the skinny fairways.
However, with the elevation changes, being short off the box can lead to a lot of lengthy approach shots.
Greens were very fast, especially on the downhill putts. Only problem I had was the yardage was not well marked.
Yardage markers on the tee box would help, so don't forget your SkyCaddie.

Recently (June 19&20, 2009) my wife and I played Innsbruck. We had a great time!!!
The first day, our score was not that much to brag about but we were feeling our way around the course.
It is a challenging course and will require you to use most clubs in your bag. The second day, our scores drop between 8-10 strokes.
I thought the greens were in excellent shape.
I really enjoyed talking with the ladies at the 19th Hole. They were very pleasent and funny to talk with.
We went there for a weekend of golf and will return soon, be on the lookout!!!

Course was in great shape. They are in the process of laying new sod at some tee boxes and around one or two greens.
However the greens are in amazing shape and the course is extremely challenging with all of its up and down holes.
Every shot is difficult, but a great value. The employees were extremely nice to us and very helpful.
The only bad thing was a group of 6 were trying to play together and held up several of us making our game about 30 min longer than it should have been.
A member saw it though and sincerely apologized and promised to take care of it since the group were locals.

Played Tues.6/9 A fun course with some scenic views of the mountains.
Played from the white tee boxes, turf was kinda firm on some holes .
Fairways must have recently been cut, as ball was always covered with grass clippings.
Some narrow fairways were bordered by hills that would kick the ball back into play. I wasn't so lucky to get any of those bounces!
The rough was just that-"rough". Had trouble locating balls.
Bunkers were clean and playable. The layout has several blind shots-some to elevated greens and others to fairways with slopes.
Need to play a second time, as I would attack some of those holes differently now that I have seen them.
The greens were soft and receptive, tiered & sloped. They were putting on the slow side. Pin placement was fair.
Yardage stakes and sprinkler heads confused us. I guess it was the angle to the greens.
Would like to see the cart path marked parallel with the 100,150,200 yardage stakes.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Course is a challenge for all skill levels.
