BRADSHAW FARM

I played Bradshaw on Thursday, 7/10/09 and paid $30.
The greens were healthy looking, but had a ton of divot holes.
I assume their play has been heavy to show this much wear.
Fairway maintenance and condition was excellent.
This course has 27 holes named blue, white and red. The red and white are the
original 18 holes.
They are fun and interesting.
However, the newest blue 9 is flat and very boring.
Overall, the course is fun and I recommend you give it a try.
Greens fees between $30 - $40 is a good deal for this course.

Very nice course, with good management.
Rangers do their job of moving people along, the course is in good condition,
and the layout challenging.
My only minor complaint was that the last time I played (Sat, July 4),
the grounds crew had put the pins on some holes in very difficult
positions, including on ridges.
So it was a given that you would three putt on these.
But overall, a nice course, with good value.

Played Blue/Red on 6/21.
The round went really fast until we caught up with a 5-somone on the back nine
and then things came to an abrupt halt.
I play here often so I have really no complaints.
I find the staff friendly enough and the greens always in good shape (lot of
unrepaired pitch marks...come on guys).
The Blue side is my least favorite but I have played it enough that I do fine it
easy to score on.
My least favorite hole on that side is the par-4 1st, and my favorite is the
short par-4 second.
The par-3 7th is legitimate. 190 yards with only one real miss option that is
short.
I would recommend you give Bradshaw a try.
The layout isn't perfect, but the greens are good and you will have a good time.

I played Bradshaw Farm for the first time on 6-19-09. I enjoyed the course quite
a bit.
I played the Blue and Red courses and really enjoyed the Red 9.
In respect of the layout, the Blue 9 left a lot to be desired in my opinion.
Then again, I love mountain courses.
If you're a flatlander, you'd probably really enjoy the Blue 9.
On both courses the fairways and greens were in great shape.
I really enjoyed my round, and will play here again when time allows.

Played on 6/17/09. Teed off at 3pm and got in 27 holes in a little more than 5
hours.
It was a scorcher and cart girl didn't disappoint.
Greens are in outstanding shape, considering the volume of public play.
Anytime I can get balls to spin back and grip on chip shots...well, that's
all I can ask for,
and Bradshag, as usual, delivered.
Considering the great LMTT deal, the pace, and the 3 different, challenging
9-hole courses,
the only thing I found fault with (besides my own golfing ineptitude) were
the bunkers.
Apparently, they'd put down a ton of new sand and many of the bunkers could've
used a good tractor-raking.
If you don't hack like me and can avoid the traps, you'll enjoy the layout
and
the greens. Truly, it was a Shagalicious day.
Play Bradshaw Farms now. It's in "no-excuses" condition and is one of the better
LMTT deals.

This is an interesting review for me.
I have enjoyed most of my experiences at Bradshaw Farms, and you can
usually find good deals to golf for a relatively inexpensive price.
The last time out there, I was very unhappy with the individuals working there
(mostly the rangers).
Talk about not making a golfer feel welcome, well one ranger yelled at my friend
for chipping around the putting green.
He could have reminded him nicely. After all, if you walk from the driving to
the putting green you can't see the "no chipping" signs.
To top that off, on 3rd or 4th hole, we were putting, and two golfers yelled
from about 175 yards away, "Hurry up" while my friend was golfing.
The really bad part about that was that there were two rangers sitting 100
yards from those other golfers talking away.
They never said anything to those guys. I think most rangers would talk to them
about golf etiquette and maybe even ask them to leave.
No, not there, these guys were probably two regulars that the rangers were
buddies with. It's sad really.
So what it boils down to is that the course at BF is pretty nice and 27 holes
gives a golfer some variety (although I have never been able to play the white
course).
The biggest problem is the "men" they call rangers who don't do their job.
Maybe enough bad reviews will help motivate them to get some rangers who want to
make sure you have a good experience.

The red and white course is fun. Not too impressed with the "new" nine, the
blue.
Staff is just somewhat friendly. It's an OK course when you are forced to
play the blue, but it is a good
course when you get to play the red/white.

It's taken me a while to get to posting this, but I don't want to forget. My
buddy and I played Bradshaw on Thursday May 21.
From moment one, it was extremely slow due to a foursome that was two
groups in front of us.
We did not even see a course ranger until we reached 12th tee, at which point we
were the group immediately behind the foursome.
At this point, I waved him down. The conversation went something like
this.
Me - "Pardon me sir, but the group in front of us is extremely slow."
Bradshaw Ranger - "Are they ever. They're terrible."
Me - "Right sir. We've been waiting all day, do you think we can play through
them?"
Bradshaw Ranger - "Uhhh, I don't know. Why don't you ask them."
Me - "All due respect sir, but I thought that was your job."
Bradshaw Ranger - "Well I'd prefer that you do it."
WTF!!!! What in the hell are they paying this guy to do?? Apparently his job
description is to drive around and burn gas!
We finally got through on the 14th tee. At this point, there fiveother groups
stuck behind them on two holes.
Apparently Bradshaw has no concern about monitoring or controlling the pace of
play at their course.
As such, if getting a round in in less then five hours is a concern of yours, I
would not recommend this course.
That being said, it can be a fun track, and the greens were rolling the best
I've ever seen there.
In the end though, I'm still pissed!

Unbelievably slow play. How can a course with 3 nine-holes let you play 6 holes
in 2 hours.
Why 6 holes only. We walked off the course.
When the marshall said "Wow. Its really playing Slow!!", we knew we were in
trouble.
It was a shame, the course layout was nice, but the course seemed beat.
I never fixed so many ball marks on the greens.
They seem to cater to their members. You are a 2nd class citizen.
Definitely not worth the $65 a person.

Played course Sunday morning. The course was in very good condition and provided
many challenging holes.
The greens were strange to me. They played fast and the breaks were
reading poor on the white nine.

My group played on 6/1 and found the course a real challenge.
Being it was my first time to play the course, I found it to be a really
nice layout, plenty bunkers, tough to get out of,
very challenging what with the amount of hazards around.
The only negative is the navigation from hole to hole. The routes could be
marked better.
As for the clubhouse and grill, it has
everything you could want and a great value.
