I played Barnsley Gardens recently and was very impressed with the layout.
The course has some of the most challenging par 3 holes of any course I have
played.
The course was in very good condition. The staff was very friendly.
A very fun course and worth the drive from Atlanta.

Played course on 7/3/09. They need a lot of rain. Greens were recently punched
and hard as a rock.
Fairways also hard. Great layout and service needs lots of rain!

Played the course on June 21st about noon.
Hot!!! but there were cold towels and ice in the cart. You just have to love
that.
The course matched or rather rivaled the services of the resort. Tee boxes,
fairways, bunkers and greens were all in excellent shape.
The course had a lot of very unique holes. Played from the blues so it did play
long. Course played links style on the front and more traditional on the back.
Being out of the way and 95 degrees, there was not a lot of traffic on the
course. Played in about 3 1/2 hours. Always a enjoyment to place a good tempo
round.
Worth the price. Everyone should try the course. Next time we may try staying at
one of the cottages as well!!!

How sweet it is...The wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary up at
Barnsley Garden (June 22 - June 24th). We got a great deal 2 for 1 for the
cottage ($129 a night) and my
daughter got me a coupon that she paid ($40) and all I had to pay was $26 for
cart for two days of golf.
This is a first class place...the service by the staff was just GREAT. The
course is in
perfect condition, greens smooooth....rolling great. The rough is good ole
bermuda stuff and can be thick at times!! Golf ball sets up so nice on all the
fairways...all the par 3's are just fun.
Just want to say thanks to Allen in the pro shop and Zack with the food service.
Will be back asap!!!

This is a great course and with the deal on a Sunday through LMTT worth the
drive. Par 3's are some of the best in the area thing of beauty. We managed to
see the so-called cart girl once
on each side? Overall experience was great I will travel here many times this
year...

This is a fun golf course. Nice layout. Challenging golf holes. Friendly staff.
Never saw the supposed cart-person though.
Recommend this course to everyone willing to pay $55+ for a
round of golf.
