TROPHY- APALACHEE

LMTT = great value. Play this course frequently.
Had to wait on every approach shot for sprinklers to be turned off. Also had to
wait on most holes for the greenskeepers to finish rolling the greens. This made
putting unpredictable.
Seems like Greens were in excellent condition but for the water (#3 had just
been aerated and #8 is seriously damaged - being the exceptions).
T boxes hadnt been cleaned of butts and t's, but other than garbage they were in
good condition. Fairways were well groomed.
I recommend the course highly, but would play a little later in the morning.

Fun course but short, 6500 from the tips. The greens were not in that great of
shape but the course was playing great. After a warm up on the front with a 52 I
shot a 39 on the back
and redeemed myself. 12 and 13 are really tough holes. I love this course and as
soon as they cut and roll the greens it will be wonderful.

I played this past week for the first time and for the money it was a great
course. I am a boogey golfer and I felt like the course gave me a chance to at
least par most holes. The par
threes are great. I can't wait to play this course again.

Played here on 7/15/09. This was my first time playing the course, and it offers
challenges on several holes. Overall, it was a terrific day of golf. We were the
1st ones out this morning,
so pace of play was not a factor. The greens are in good shape and rolled true &
well. The fairways were in pretty good shape.
The clubhouse services were outstanding. We will definitely return sometime
later in the summer.

Played here today (7/6). This was my first time playing the course so it posed a
little challenge on several holes. Overall, it was a great day of golf. The pace
moved very well and with
the lmtt early time, we got a great deal. The replay rate is good too at the
course. Our group ended up playing 27 holes and enjoyed it. The bent grass
greens are in good shape and
rolled true. The dry weather the last month is starting to show some on the
fairways, but overall, they were in pretty good shape.
There are some risk/reward holes but you can score well here if you don't try to
over power the course. Par 3's offer some good challenges but you can score on
them. Our group all
played well today and this was the first time on this course for us.
The clubhouse service was outstanding. If you want a great lunch, try their
chicken salad sandwich and chips. Perfect! We will definitely return sometime
later in the summer.

I always enjoy playing this course. Overall, the course is in very good
condition. Much better than previous years at this time of year. The greens are
rolling good and the fairways are in
good shape. With tee times starting at 6 am, there is plenty of golf early too!
Looking forward to getting back out to play soon!

Played 7/2 7:30 am
Great to play before the holiday really kicked off. The course was full but
never felt like we were pushing anyone or really being pushed.
Cashed in some yards and got out on a red flag special so we played for under
$30 per out of pocket. Excellent value at that rate.
Fairway was in really good shape, never had to worry about playing out of a
divot. Staying on the fairway is definitely rewarded - first cut isn't bad,
second could be lost ball.
Distances are not well or consistently marked. GPS would be good, however Range
Finder would be even better (and I'm a GPS guy). This course doesn't post the
pin position to an area
on the green, making the front middle back on the GPS helpful in general, but
not if you are trying to dial in.
Greens were faster earlier than we thought they would be (still dew on all), and
slower as the moisture disappeared (go figure).
I'll play again soon, particularly via LMTT.

Played TC Apalachee for the first time this morning. Perhaps it was a mistake
playing on a day where many people had off. The front 9 was very slow...took
just about 3 hours to
complete. Once we got to the back 9 it was much better, but 5 hours was a little
rough.
The course plays pretty tight, especially in the front. This is a not a place
for people that think they can just rip it. The course is definteley a
challenge. The greens were in pretty good
shape, although we seemed to be following the maintnenance guy watering them
down. The fairways were in decent shape, and most of the tee boxes were fine.
The back 9 tee boxes
were a little beat up, but nothing terrible.
The staff seemed to be very nice. The cart girl was very friendly and she came
by about 3 times which is always nice.
Overall, the course was pretty good, I guess the pace of play was the only big
drawback, so I will be sure to only go on a off-peak time next time.

Played 26 June--started at 10:30 a.m.--on a really hot day. This was my Father's
Day present from my son and was joined by a friend of his. Very enjoyable round
even with the heat--
thanks to the frequent visits from Drink Hostess ( hate the term "cart girl" ).
My first visit to the course but enjoyed the set-up and conditions. Thanks to
the to the shapes of the fairways
my "sometimes " fade settled into some nice lies on some challenging holes. I
will be back to play. Play the extra club when in doubt on approaches and look
twice before your shot--
some holes are visually a bit tricky but great fun!! Greens can be fast or slow
depending on your placement and exposure to sun etc. Had great time!!

Played TC Apalachee on 6/13/09 (7:00am) and 6/20/09 (6:38am). Both mornings the
course was in really good condition. Greens were well kept and ball marks were
at a minimum.
Nice putting surfaces yet deceptively quick. The first 2 holes are very much
feel good holes if you play them smart. #1 (par 5) aim for the sand on the right
and watch your ball funnel
into the center of the fairway, allowing for an excellent birdie chance..#2 (par
4) Aim for the last pine tree on the right and play a wedge onto the green. Lot
of the holes play uphill, so
club up. Fun round, nice rewards for well placed shots. Not too much water comes
into play, but a good deal of unplayable areas to avoid. For the price its hard
to beat!! I am already
looking for another opportunity to play here.

Played on fathers day with an email special of $19. This is always a challenging
course from the any set of tees. The course is in very good condition and the
greens were actually slow.
They were not cut today. The cart girl was out finally and everybody was happy.

Played on 6/13....Got paired with another two-some. But that did not spoil the
day. The greens were fast and there are some challenging holes. I shot my best
score of the year so take
that how you will. I am going to go back soon once I get more practice and try
to see if I can beat my own score. The stand out for me was the way most holes
are set up. It reminded
me of courses in scotland.

played this course on 06/01/09. as always the entire staff was helpful and
freindly. you will need to use every club in your bag for trophy club of
apalachee which i like. there area a
couple of long challenging par 3's along with some reachable par 4's. there is a
good mix of holes here.
the tee boxes were good and greens were good also. seems as if there were
recently punched in and added some sand too. but after a week or so i think the
holes will fill and sand will
settle. some of the fairways needed some work but thats just me being picky. i
think the fairways should of been in better shape compared to the tee boxes and
greens. set your tee time
first thing in the morning and you will see some hot women walking thier dogs
around the course!
