ACHASTA

This is still one of my favorite courses in the North Atlanta area. I don't get to play it as often as I like, but really enjoy it when I get back.
They are currently updating the clubhouse so there is some construction going on.
Range balls are included if you are there early enough. The course layout is great.
The par 5s are reachable giving you a chance to score well but also have plenty of trouble causing some big numbers.
The par 3s vary in length and require accuracy.
There are some short par 4s for birdie opportunities but some difficult ones that
you just want to get your par and move on.
As for the course, it was in great condition.
The tees/fairways were doing really well considering the heat this summer.
The bunkers were soft and consistent throughout the course.
The greens were in great shape. You can tell they have given them plenty of water to make sure they don't burn up.
They were soft from the extra water, making them easier to hit.
Overall, this is a place you have to visit if you haven't been before.
